It's no secret that the Philadelphia Flyers have limped into the All-Star break and are on the verge of a season collapse. From injuries to scandals to lack of offensive firepower, the Flyers are starting to look like last years team the more that the season goes on. After a young Flyer has excited fans and showed flashes in the very little opportunities that he got, a demotion has fans and the media questioning why the Flyers made this move.

Last week, the Flyers sent young star Bobby Brink down to the AHL to further work on his development in Lehigh Valley with the Phantoms. In just three games, Brink has been an absolute star for the Phantoms while the Flyers have went 1-5 in their last six.
Is Brink proving that the Flyers made a bad decision?
In just three games, Brink has accumulated three points, all coming on three goals, including a two goal game. Brink along with Flyers top prospect Samu Tuomaala have been an explosive pairing and have shown their impeccable scoring ability.

Flyers head coach John Tortorella for some reason does not want to come around on Brink. Countless times, Tortorella overlooks his offensive ability and scoring opportunities because of his inconsistency in checking.
Because of this, Tortorella doesnt give Brink much ice time which in result, causes a dip in Brink's numbers. Like Flyers analyst and writer Jonathan Bailey says, "It's hard to score when you're never on the ice."
Hopefully the Flyers and Tortorella see the mistake they made and Brink returns to the Flyers after the break and is used properly.
