"Even though they keep finding ways to earn points, the last couple of weeks have been rough on the Philadelphia Flyers. Both goaltenders Brian Elliott and Michal Neuvirth and forward Wayne Simmonds have all been lost to injury over the past few days.
The Flyers benefitted from some late game heroics from Jakub Voracek to beat the Montreal Canadiens in overtime last night. However, the win came with another costly injury.
Travis Konecny took a Jeff Petry slap shot off of the left foot and was in major pain. His skating was labored during his final three shifts of the night and he did not see the ice during overtime.
Konecny was a no show for today's morning skate at the Skate Zone. This, of course, led to a lot of speculation and fear on social media.
Thankfully, head coach Dave Hakstol gave a positive update following practice by saying that Konecny is probable for tomorrow night's contest against the Columbus Blue Jackets.
TK is probable for Thurs.
