The Philadelphia Flyers are back in action on Friday night as they host the Pittsburgh Penguins for the second game in a row. Philly pretty much dominated the Penguins during the first game and skated away with a 6-3 victory. It was a different looking Flyers team compared to the bubble where the team struggled to score goals. Instead the Flyers were extremely opportunistic and never stopped skating which helped in their execution. Why mess with a good thing?Head coach Alain Vigneault confirmed that there would be no lineup changes for Friday's game. While the team looked good offensively, AV is hoping for better defensive play. "After watching the game and talking with my staff, there is no doubt that I feel we can be better 5 on 5. We did finish on some of our opportunities, but we spent more time than we needed to in our zone. Mind you, I don't want to take anything away from them. They are a real strong team with great one on one players and great players that can do a lot of things off the rush," Vigneault said. Defenseman Shayne Gostisbehere remains out of the lineup while in COVID protocol and both Morgan Frost and Mark Friedman remain healthy scratches. Carter Hart gets the start.
