"Unfortunately for Corban Knight his return to the NHL didn't go as planned. Philadelphia Flyers general manager Ron Hextall has announced that Knight will be out for the next four months with a broken collarbone. It's a really tough break for the 28 year old Knight who spent all of last season in the AHL. While he was able to put up 37 points in 58 games last season with Lehigh Valley, he wasn't able to register a point in the three games he played so far this season. With Tyrell Goulbourne and Nicolas Aube-Kubel trying to earn a roster spot for the rest of season along with the eventual return of James van Riemsdyk and Michael Raffl, it's hard to imagine Knight will have a place waiting for him if he can come back this season.
