BREAKING Flyers Hire New Coach.

New Philadelphia Flyers general manager Chuck Fletcher has made his first move as Flyers GM. The team and Fletcher announced that they've hired Rick Wilson. Wilson jump on board as an assistant coach for Dave Hakstol and replace Gord Murphy who was fired one day after Ron Hextall. According to the Flyers, Fletcher and Hakstol worked together on the hiring as Wilson is a former assistant coach at North Dakota where Hakstol coached for 11 years. "I've know Rick for a long time, both professionally and personally," Hakstol said. "The game runs in his veins,"
Hopefully Wilson can have an immediate impact on the struggling Flyers defense.
