BREAKING Flyers Place Forward On IR, Call Up Forward From AHL.

"It looks like it might be awhile before we see one of the Philadelphia Flyers' key young forwards back. General manager Chuck Fletcher announced that the team has placed forward Joel Farabee on injured reserve. Farabee has been dealing with an upper body injury since the start of the month and is considered week to week. Fletcher also announced that the team has called up 24 year old forward Jackson Cates. Cates has 5 points in 18 games so far this season but most importantly can play center if needed. More details to come.

Transaction: We have recalled forward Jackson Cates from the @LVPhantoms (AHL).
The Flyers have placed forward Joel Farabee on Injured Reserve.

Cates will wear #59 and be available for Friday's #PHIvsVGK matchup.
