"The Philadelphia Flyers have been attached to the Los Angeles Kings for awhile regarding a possible Jonathan Quick trade. The chatter had Flyers' fans up in arms considering the Flyers are overloaded with goalies now and have their goalie of the future in Carter Hart. While trade talks between the Flyers and Kings might be cooling down, it sounds like the Flyers are targeting another goalie. According to NHL insider Darren Dreger, the Flyers have started trade talks with the Edmonton Oilers regarding goalie Cam Talbot. The Oilers placed Talbot on the trade block earlier this season as it just doesn't seem to be working out in Edmonton. Dreger points out that Talbot and Hart are close and already have a relationship. Talbot has a 10-15-3 record along with a 3.36 goals against average and .893 save percentage on a disastrous Oilers team. The 31 year old is UFA after the season.
As we know, Talbot and Carter Hart have a good relationship. Could be a good fit for Talbot if it progresses. https://t.co/gu4AKc3hhg — Darren Dreger (@DarrenDreger) February 14, 2019
