The report stated that Lehtera had already met with police and denied any involvement in the matter including arrests that took place at his summer cottage. With the report blowing up the internet, Flyers general manager released a brief statement regarding the story around noon. "We have spoken with Jori Lehtera and the league office regarding the reports out of Finland, and will reserve any further comment on the matter at this time."" The statement was released through the Flyers Twitter account. If found guilty to be involved, Lehtera faces 1 to 10 years in prison.
