"We have dedicated a lot of time to the fantastic season of Philadelphia Flyers goaltending prospect Carter Hart. He tremendous year includes multiple Western Hockey League Player of the Month awards, a gold medal for Canada at the World Junior Championships and now franchise and league records.
Last week Hart tied the WHL all-time record with his 26th career shutout. Considering his .951 save percentage on the season, there is little doubt that he would break this record before the year is through.
On Friday night, Hart made 30 save in a 4-3 overtime win over the Seattle Thunderbirds. The win was Hart's 23rd of the season and 108th of his career, setting a new Everett Silvertips franchise record.
Hart has a record of 23-4-1-2 on the season now to go with a 1.57 goals-average, a .951 save percentage and seven shutouts. This truly has been a season for the record books!
