Flyers Go For Season Sweep Against Arizona.

"The Philadelphia Flyers hit the ice tonight at the Wells Fargo Center for the first time since their successful western road trip. Philly ended the trip with a win against the Arizona Coyotes and will look to start their home stand with a win against the same team. Captain Claude Giroux had two goals and an assist in Monday's win against the Coyotes, the assist being the 280th power play point of his career which bumped him up to second spot all time with the Flyers. After a rough start against the San Jose Sharks, Calvin Pickard bounced back in the win against the Coyotes stopping 34 of 36 shots and will get the start tonight with Brian Elliott dressed but still not ready to start. ""Yeah it's good to get into a rhythm for sure,"" Pickard said after his 34 saves Monday night. ""I think that was my fourth or fifth game now and fourth start so it's good to get a little more comfortable and I thought my last two were my best two so far. I just gotta build off that. Enjoy this one tonight and then back to work when we get back to Philly.""
Forward Oskar Lindblom enjoyed some success during the road trip as he put together six points during a four game point streak which helped the Flyers get themselves out of trouble. ""We knew we dug ourselves a hole. I think we're a quarter way out right now. We've just got to set that tone that we're a winning hockey club. We got ourselves back to basics. It's just go up from here."" stated Flyers defenseman Shayne Gostisbehere.
