The Philadelphia Flyers have one of the best prospect pipelines in the NHL thanks to former GM Ron Hextall's work. With some great young names on the NHL roster and some talented youngsters ready to break the lineup in the next couple of years, the team can afford to let the ones they don't like walk. That's exactly what will likely happen today at 5PM EST. During the summer of 2017, Hextall shipped forward Nick Cousins and goalie Merrick Madsen to the Arizona Coyotes for youngster Brendan Warren and a 2018 fifth round pick.Warren was drafted in the third round of the 2015 NHL Draft by the Coyotes. The 22 year old played four seasons with the University of Michigan however had his worse season in 2018-19 as he registered just three points and finished the season a -9. Clearly the Flyers haven't been too impressed as they never signed him to a contract and the forward will likely become UFA at 5PM today.
