"The Philadelphia Flyers will welcome the San Jose Sharks to town for their 2018-19 home opener. Head coach Dave Hakstol will stick with the changes he made mid game during Saturday's loss to Colorado. Jake Voracek will skate with Sean Couturier and Claude Giroux, while Travis Konecny will skate with Nolan Patrick and Oskar Lindblom. Jordan Weal will eat up James van Riemsdyk's even strength minutes as he skates with Mikhail Vorobyev and Wayne Simmonds. Simmonds has two goals in his first two games so far this season. The Flyers might have an advantage as the Sharks are playing their second game in as many nights, are without Joe Thornton due to injury and the Flyers will have the chance to go up against San Jose's backup, Aaron Dell. Brian Elliott gets the start for the Flyers and you can catch the game on NBCSN. Here's a look at both team's full projected lineups:Flyers projected lineup
