"The Philadelphia Flyers hit the ice this afternoon at 4PM EST for their round robin game against the Washington Capitals. Another win will bring the Flyers that much closer to locking up the first seed in the Eastern Conference as the Boston Bruins have already lost the spot. For this afternoon's game head coach Alain Vigneault had already confirmed one big change and that was Brian Elliott getting the start instead of Carter Hart. It's not the only change of course with Michael Raffl sidelined due to injury. Joel Farabee will jump into the lineup for his NHL playoff debut and he'll actually play on the third line along side Derek Grant and Nic Aube-Kubel.This means it's bad news for James van Riemsdyk as he's already been called out by AV and there's a small chance he finds himself in the press box. At practice, JVR was rotating with Connor Bunnaman on the fourth line so this could just be a tactic by AV to get JVR motivated or it could mean that he's headed to the press box. Vigneault had hinted at Shayne Gostisbehere possibly jumping into the lineup, however he'll once again be scratched. Here's a look at the full lineup for this afternoon. Giroux - Couturier - Voracek
Laughton - Hayes - Konecny
Farabee - Grant - Aube-Kubel
JVR/Bunnaman - Thompson - Pitlick
Provorov - Niskanen
Sanheim - Myers
Hägg - Braun
Elliott
