"As the Philadelphia Flyers were getting back to NHL action, they got an unfortunate surprise as defenseman Shayne Gostisbehere was a last minute scratch on Tuesday. Gostisbehere didn't play on Monday either but was hopeful to play on Tuesday night. Head coach Scott Gordon explained it was a last minute scratch after he left warm ups due to something that happened in the morning. Described as ""just a bruise"". Well it sounds like that bruise must be pretty bad as Gostisbehere will now miss both Thursday and Saturday's game. The 25 year old has five goals and 15 assists so far in 48 games.
