The Philadelphia Flyers have been labeled again and again as having one of the top prospect pools in hockey. Two of those prospects, Carter Hart and Morgan Frost, are looking to drop the prospect title and become full time NHLers. "Hopefully there's a chance for me to make it, and I'm just going to work my hardest and try to win one of those spots," said Frost who has arguably been the best player at the rookie camp. Hart has made it clear throughout the summer his goal is to be on the Flyers. "For me this year, obviously my goal is to make the NHL, but if that doesn't happen, Lehigh Valley is a great spot," Hart said. "I got to experience that the last two seasons at the end of my playoffs when I went up to Allentown and kind of joined their playoff run. I got to experience that city and what it's about. They have a great setup in Allentown. Either way, I have to make the most of every opportunity I get."
There will be no small taste of NHL action if they earn a spot, general manager Ron Hextall has made it clear he's not a believer in the 9 game tryout system and stated if somebody makes the team out of camp, they'll be there for the season. Do you think Frost or Hart can crack the NHL roster this season?
