"The Philadelphia Flyers will return to the practice ice later this afternoon to prepare for their post All-Star break push that begins Wednesday night at the Washington Capitals.
Claude Giroux made Flyers fans proud as the team's lone representative for the weekend. During the first half of the Metropolitan Division's 7-4 loss to the Atlantic Division, Giroux put his team up 2-1 by beating Andrei Vasilevskiy of the Tampa Bay Lightning.

John Boruk had an interesting tidbit about the possible return of the NHL All-Star Game to Philadelphia during his recap of this year's event for NBC Sports Philadelphia. The NHL announced that the San Jose Sharks will host the 2019 All-Star Game, but it could be back in Philly in due time.
"While the Flyers' organization has expressed their interest in hosting another All-Star event, a Comcast-Spectacor executive still believes the NHL is eyeballing Philly for 2026, which would commemorate the 250th anniversary of the Declaration of Independence in the nation's birthplace.""
