"Doug Pederson does not have to worry about paying for a meal or an adult beverage in the city of Philadelphia for quite some time. And he if he can lead the Eagles to an upset over the New England Patriots a week from Sunday, he can run for "mayor for life" and win in a landslide.
Before the Eagles head coach heads to Minneapolis for Super Bowl LII, Pederson was a guest of the Flyers on Thursday night. Before the game, Pederson was presented with his very own Flyers sweater autographed by the entire team by head coach Dave Hasktol.
He then had a brief meeting with captain Claude Giroux while the team took the ice for the pregame skate.

Pederson's night wasn't over as he took to center ice to drop the puck between Giroux and Steven Stamkos, much to the delight of the home crowd.

It certainly looks like a great time was had and we hope the Eagles fair much better on February 4 than the Flyers did last night! "
