The Flyers will get one last test before heading into the All-Star break as they the Eastern Conference leading Tampa Bay Lightning.
The Lightning followed up their recent three-game winning streak with back-to-back wins at the Chicago Blackhawks and Nashville Predators this week. They are missing two important pieces to their lineup as defenseman Victor Hedman and winger Ondrej Palat are both with lower-body injuries. Hedman is having an All-Star season and deserves some Norris Trophy consideration. Not only does Palat have 30 on the year, but he is also one Tampa's best defensive forwards.
The biggest question for the Flyers heading into tonight's game was whether or not Michael Raffl would be able to play, but he will be in uniform tonight. Dave Hakstol will not make any changes to his skaters. Tyrell Goulborne will remain in the lineup as the Flyers have won all seven games he has played in.
The only change will come in goal as Michal Neuvirth will get the start tonight and will be opposed by All-Star Andrei Vasilevskiy.
