NHL Network Gives Shayne Gostisbehere Huge Praise.

"Even though at times last season, it didn't look like Flyers head coach Dave Hakstol had much love for Shayne Gostisbehere, the NHL Network definitely believes that Ghost's 2017-18 season deserves some love. The NHL Network recently put together a list of the league's top 20 defenseman and Gostisbehere cracked it. While Provorov was left off the list disappointing some, Gostisbehere locked in at #17, coming in one spot behind Boston's Torey Krug and one spot ahead of Dougie Hamilton who was recently traded to the Carolina Hurricanes. ""He really came into his own last year. This kid is dynamic, and for me, I think there are some defensive liabilities, but because how offensive the game has become and defensemen being part of that offense, Gostisbehere can do it all. He's shifty and can make a pass in the blink of an eye for a great scoring chance."" NHL Network's Ken Daneyko explained.
Daneyko also went on to say that Provorov was on the bubble of making the list this year and should likely find himself there next year. ""For such a young age, poise, good in all three zones and only getting better,"" Daneyko said of Provorov. ""He moves the puck and has good offensive instinct. He's going to be a real good player for a long time.""
