The Philadelphia Flyers looked pretty solid heading into the playoffs and it's a good sign they've bought into head coach Alain Vigneault's system. Unfortunately one forward never really got the chance chance to get going in it. Nolan Patrick's season was never able to start and even though he skated at times there was a million questions regarding his future. According to one Flyers' insider, Patrick might never get going for the remainder of this season or any season in the future. When answering questions in his latest mailbag, Dave Isaac of the Courier-Post revealed that there's serious questions regarding Patrick's playing future. "From understanding, Nolan Patrick being able to resume his playing career is not a slam dunk. Patrick is a pending restricted free agent that would require a $971,250 qualifying offer. He hasn't been cleared for contact yet." There's been chatter that Patrick is dealing with serious concussion issues while the Flyers have revealed his family has a history of migraines.Would you be surprised if Patrick never plays again?
