"Injuries to both Brian Elliott and Michal Neuvirth forced Philadelphia Flyers general manger Ron Hextall to go out an acquire Petr Mrazek from the Detroit Red Wings back on February 19.
Mrazek's first three starts for the Flyers resulted in wins, including a 28 save shutout of the Montreal Canadiens. Mrazek gave up four goals on 76 total shots for a .947 save percentage. He has posted a .853 save percentage (18 goals on 123 shots) in his last four starts in which the Flyers have gone 0-3-1.
Hopefully a new mask will get Mrazek back into the form we saw him right after the trade. The Flyers official Twitter account showed off pictures of Mrazek's sweet new mask which pays tribute to the Broad Street Bullies; specifically Bernie Parent, Dave Schultz and Bobby Clarke!
Mrazek will debut the new mask when the Flyers look to end their five-game losing streak versus the Winnipeg Jets on Saturday afternoon.
