"The Philadelphia Flyers are expected to make a couple of changes this summer, and while they might not be blockbusters, they'll be interesting. There's the goalie situation which seems has to be addressed every season, the team needs to strengthen up the blue line, and the team needs to figure out what's going on with the bottom six up front. Brandon Sommermann of Philly Fan Life reports that according to his sources the team is interested in signing 2009 Edmonton Oilers first round pick Magnus Paajarvi. The 27 year old brings some size standing at 6'3 and weighing in at 206lbs, however he doesn't really bring much else. Paajarvi only scored double digit goals (15) back in his rookie season of 2010-11 and it was also the only time he came close to playing a full 82 game season aside from this past season. Splitting the 2017-18 season between the St. Louis Blues and Ottawa Senators putting up eight goals and four assists. It would be pretty surprising to see the Flyers sign him, but stranger things have happened.
Just got this from a reliable source, #Flyers are expected to take a long look at UFA Magnus Paajarvi. He would bring some much needed depth to the Flyers bottom 6. Also, is an above average penalty killer. #FlyersTalk #LetsGoFlyers #EarnTomorrow
