Ron Hextall Comments On Goalie Trade Rumors.

The Philadelphia Flyers are experiencing another classic up and down Flyers season. No surprise either, but the goalies haven't exactly showed up to play. Starter Brian Elliott has turned it around recently after a rough start to the season, he's posted two straight shutouts and has only given up six goals in his last five games. Before his current run though, chatter started to build that the Flyers were actually on the trade market looking for another goalie. Hextall was asked about it recently by the media."There's not a whole lot of guys just laying around and there's not a whole lot of guys you're gonna get for less than three or four pieces if, in fact, you get a guy," Hextall said. "It's not as easy as we'd all like it to be just to parachute a player of any position in for a short period of time or you try to upgrade."
