There are reports that the Flyers' top prospect Matvei Michkov will play for them this upcoming season. First, Michkov's contract must be terminated by his KHL club for him to come to North America, but here is a possible breakdown of his contract if one is signed with the Flyers.

So correct me if I'm wrong.

The Flyers can sign Matvei Michkov to an ELC for three years at $950,000 per year ($2.85 million) and add $285,000 for performance bonuses.

The performance bonuses cannot exceed 10 percent of the total contract value.

Michkov if he comes to North America will sign an entry-level contract with the Flyers. The contract would be for three years which will be $950,000 per year and the total contract would be $2.85 million. Michkov would also be able to earn bonuses.
At the end of the three years, he would become a restricted free agent, so if he signs with any other team, the Flyers would be able to match the offer. NHL players now cannot become an unrestricted free agent until after the season when they turn 25. If Michkov does come to the Flyers this upcoming season, then we should be able to see him for many years in the orange and the black.
