The Colorado Avalanche's season just ended as they were eliminated from the playoffs by the Dallas Stars. With this, one of their defensemen and former Flyer Sean Walker will be a free agent and can sign with any team come July 1, 2024. If the Avalanche do not re-sign him by that date, here are three possible suiters.

The first team is the Toronto Maple Leafs. The Maple Leafs need a top right-handed defenseman and Walker can certainly help them in that regard. He would immediately be one of the top defensemen on the team if signed.
The next team is the Dallas Stars. The Stars would like to add a right-handed defenseman especially if they lose defenseman Chris Tanev. However, even if they keep Chris Tanev, look for the Stars to still try to sign Sean Walker.
The last team is the Edmonton Oilers. The Oilers will most likely been in on a right-handed defenseman. If they add Walker, he would be a top four defenseman on their team and would provide offense from the point.
Danny Briere of the Flyers already stated that they will not spend much in free agency this summer, however, with Walker being a former Flyer, you cannot rule it out. Walker should get a deal with AAV in the $4 - $4.5 million range.
