But that's where the fine line comes in with the young guys. Some players will learn from their mistakes, others will continue to make the same mistakes over and over again, seemingly never learning. It's the balancing act the Flyers' higher-ups are currently up against. It's their job to figure out who can and will learn from their mistakes, and who is what they are and no change will ever come.
Their previous development suggests that the chances are Zamula and York will learn, and the mistakes they made last night will happen far less frequently in the coming weeks, months, and even years, but there are some who will not learn or be able to adjust to how things need to be done in the NHL, and it'll be up to Tortorella, Briere and Jones to recognize who those players are and make the appropriate moves for the betterment of the team and the future.
