At the beginning of the season, Victor Mete was waived to the AHL Phantoms after not making the team out of training camp and waived to the Lehigh Valley team, only to be called up recently.
Since he was just reassigned to the minors two days ago, he will have another chance to crack the lineup.
Due to the upcoming games against the Anaheim Ducks and San Jose Sharks, he will be joining the team in California.
Recently Mete sat as veteran insurance in four games for Philadelphia as a healthy scratch. Mete has one assist in five games with the Phantoms.
