BREAKING: Flyers to enter multi-year, long-term rebuild after Chuck Fletcher addresses media
Throughout this season, Flyers nation, almost every pundit in the NHL has looked at the Philadelphia Flyers and stated that they require a full rebuild. It's evident on the ice and how the team's configured.
But saying that, general manager Chuck Fletcher continued to use the words aggressive retooling when he asked questions about where the status of the Flyers and what will the future held.
After months of ducking the questions, the beleaguered general manager finally admitted in an interview that he and his organization are preparing for a full rebuild moving forward.

He explained that he wanted to give the head coaching staff a chance to get to know the players and teach them how the game is played, and sure that everybody is on board with the idea and then begin the rebuild process.
The Flyers' general manager has also stated that they are open for business and have fielded calls regarding their expired contracts. He explained that he is willing to listen to anyone.
This team has appeared listless all season, with no direction in sight and with two days remaining in the trade deadline and with most of the big players already moved off the board I'm finding it difficult to see where
Mr. Fletcher will make his moves to improve the team going forward into next season.
He has held onto his draft choices and is prepared to move expiring contracts but I think he's missed his mark and waited too long.
Time will only tell if he will be able to make a deal or two with names such as Justin Braun and JVR being on the block.
