Detroit Red Wings Re-sign One of Their Best Young Prospects

The Detroit Red Wings Rebuild has been going fairly smooth as Wings General Manager Steve Yzerman looks to keep working towards making his team a Stanley Cup contender.
Today hockey Insider Kevin Weekes revealed Yzerman resigned Czech Republic's Filip Zadina to a three year $5,475,000 contract extension.

The new deal has a $1,825,000 annual salary. Zadina was selected by the Red Wings in the 2018th NHL draft 6th overall. Last season in 74 games Zadina had 10 goals, and 14 assists with the Wings.
