After a disappointing and humiliating loss to the Detroit Red Wings last night, the Philadelphia Flyers decided it was a good idea to spell their rookie Isaac Ratcliffe's name wrong. The Flyers lost the game by a score of 6-3 while only registering their second shot of the third with three minutes left in the game.

Unsurprisingly, the team decided to hit a new low. Rookie Isaac Ratcliffe was the only bright spot of the night, scoring his first NHL goal on a tip atop the crease. So how does the team decide to celebrate the milestone? By spelling his name incorrectly on the Jumbotron.
Isaac Ratcliffe was the third star of the contest and when the three stars were announced, there it was. Haunting, in caps and embarrassingly Isaac Radcliff'. What makes it even worse is that they spelled Dylan Larkin and Robby Fabbri's names correctly. The Flyers decided to misspell only their own players' name.
Even if there had been many people at Wells Fargo Center, I don't even know if the fans would have noticed. This team is so under-engaged, so poor, that even its arena employees couldn't be bothered to add an e' to Ratcliffe. Oh, and they did also put a 'd' instead of a 't'.
The Flyers and Ratcliffe face off against the Red Wings again Saturday at 12:00 in Michigan. Philly is (15-23-8) over 46 games.
