Incredibly conflicting reports regarding the Claude Giroux and Florida panthers have surfaced. According to NHL correspondent for The Fourth Period Anthony Di Marco, the Florida Panthers are yet to make an official trade proposal for Claude Giroux. They may not even be that into him.

Last night at around 8 p.m., Di Marco tweeted this.
"Per a source, the #TimeToHunt have yet to make an official offer for Giroux. The #Flyers don't have an idea on what they're willing to pay, as FLA has only mentioned minor league players to this point. There'a a sense that FLA may not really want Giroux."

He then goes on to say that he believes that all the prospects offered by Florida in a deal are worse than the Flyers' worst prospect. One of his sources even described it as an embarrassing deal if the Flyers make it. Worse than our worst. Take that in for a second.
It comes as no surprise that the Panthers would want to part ways with Owen Tippett but it also isn't surprising that the Flyers are reportedly not too keen on him. With Florida as Giroux's preferred destination, Chuck Fletcher may have his hands forced but has a duty to demand more in the deal.
The names swirling around right now are Denisenko, Samoskevich and a few other picks. We need to remember Florida doesn't have a first round pick in 2022 or 2023. I would hate to be Chuck Fletcher right now.
