Flyers 24-year-old right winger Owen Tippett had quite the night last night in the Flyers 3-2 win against Montreal. Tippett recorded his 14th goal of the season as the Flyers were able to sneak away with a shootout win to close out their home stand.

Tippett's goal was an impressive one as the Flyers desperately needed to get something going in the first period as they started off in a 2-0 hole. With just under five minutes to go, Tippett grabbed the rebound off a Sean Couturier shot and snuck it back in the goal as the Flyers were on the board and the Wells Fargo Center came alive.
Another impressive feat came at the end of the overtime period as Tippett set an NHL record on the season. Tippett recorded the fastest top speed of a single player this season in the NHL at 24.21 mph. Take a look at just how fast Tippett was flying in overtime:
Tippett is having a solid year with the Flyers as he has contributed 24 points on 14 goals and 10 assists with his signature moment coming in December as he netted the overtime winning goal against the New Jersey Devils.
