Flyers fans have had a lot to talk about the last few days. From losing their top prospect because he did not want to be a part of the organization to adding a new young defenseman, Flyers fans had their first opportunity to bring the energy on Wednesday night as they welcomed the Montreal Canadiens to town.

It almost felt like Flyers fans had something to prove and wanted to show Cutter Gauthier what he will be missing out on for the rest of his career as fans certainly brought the energy on Wednesday night. Flyers fans especially channeled their positive vibes towards newest defenseman Jamie Drysdale as they welcomed him with open arms and standing ovations on Wednesday night.
Fans on twitter were even commenting on how different the energy felt in the Wells Fargo Center on Wednesday night compared to the previous games this season, saying how it felt like a playoff atmosphere.

After Jamie Drysdale recored an assist in his first powerplay surge with the Flyers as Morgan Frost netted his seventh goal of the year, Flyers fans got especially loud when PA announcer Lou Nolan announced his name over the loudspeaker.
And of course, it wouldn't be a Philadelphia sporting event without expletives and taunting as Flyers fans chanted an always affectionate phrase for Cutter Gauthier.
If the Flyers can sneak into the Playoffs in 2024, the Wells Fargo Center will surely be a tough place to play for any opponent.
