We are Monday, and it means another edition of Flyers Today!

Philadelphia finally snapped a 6 game losing streak on Saturday by winning 2-1 against the Capitals. Mike Yeo's player will be back into action on Tuesday against the Oilers at Wells Fargo Center.
1. I want to go back on the report indicating that Montreal and Philadelphia discussed a trade involving defenseman Jeff Petry and forward James Van Riemsdyk.
Must read on FlyersInsider

I can understand the Flyers to see an opportunity there to ask Montreal to take Van Riemsdyk contract in exchange for Petry. However, I don't know if Canadiens' GM Kent Hughes would really want to go there. Petry is, in my opinion, a more valuable asset than JVR, despite his age. Everybody is going to look at his season to show that he isn't as good as before, but let's not forget that pretty much everybody in Montreal was having a bad campaign before Dominique Ducharme's departure.
In his last 5 games, Petry registered 4 points, including 3 assists.
James Van Riemsdyk isn't the type of player Montreal wants, and even though Hughes told that they were looking to trade Petry, Philly's offer isn't good enough. They asked Montreal to eat as much as 1M$ on Petry's contract, in addition on taking on JVR's contract.
And don't forget that Philadelphia is on the no trade list of Petry. At the end of the day, Montreal will find a better offer for Petry. For Chuck Fletcher, he'll find someone this summer, by a trade or a signing during free agency.
Oh, did I mention that John Klinkberg will probably be a UFA in July ?
2. There could be more good news on the way for the Flyers this week. Derick Brassard and Joel Farabee were back in the lineup on Saturday, and it could be soon the case for Kevin Hayes. Certainly not on Tuesday, but maybe later in the week. But is it really a good idea ?
3. Should Yeo give Travis Sanheim some powerplay time ? The defenseman has been on a roll lately. He is making a lot of good plays in the offensive zone, and his production rosed up. In his last 15 games, he registered 9 points.
