Before Thursday's loss to the Columbus Blue Jackets, Flyers center Morgan Frost was left out of the lineup by head coach John Tortorella as Frost was struggling as of late. Saturday afternoon, Frost bounced back and helped lead the Flyers to a much needed win.

After Thursday's loss and being a healthy scratch, Frost approached Tortorella and had an extremely productive meeting, something that Tortorella was very impressed by.
"Friday was really a good, honest conversation of what's happening now and just kind of big-picture stuff. He's the one who wanted the meeting. For me, I was thrilled that he came in and wanted to talk and gave me some of his thoughts, not agreeing. That's a huge step for me with Frosty, is him coming in and saying, 'You know what, this is what I think.' It's so important that players do that. It creates a little bit of a path for him and I as we try to go through this."

Frost responded in a big way in the Flyers victory on Saturday afternoon, netting a goal in the second period to give the Flyers some offensive momentum.

If Frost can continue to improve day-by-day, he will receive big minutes from Tortorella.
