Thursday night, Flyers forward Scott Laughton was injured after taking a hit and ramming head first into the boards against the Florida Panthers.

If you remember, with 13:00 to go in the second period, Laughton attempted an in between the legs move around Panthers defenceman Petteri Lindbohm who stood his ground. Laughton went flying into the right dasher boards and immediately laid on the ice in distress.
Laughton hit the board off balance after what was a clean hit. Travis Konecny, his linemate however, immediately jumped in to stand up for his teammate.
Coach Mike Yeo confirmed last night that Laughton indeed suffered a concussion and would be out indefinitely.

Laughton, 27 has been one of the brighter spots in this sorry season for the Flyers and it's a shame that the injuries just won't stop coming. Laughton joins Nate Thompson, Samuel Morin, Sean Couturier, Ryan Ellis and Ryan Fitzgerald on the team's injured list.
With another center down, the team recently recalled Morgan Frost from the Lehigh valley Phantoms and sent down Max Willman (who scored last night over Laval).
With Laughton out, Frost has an opportunity to prove himself with the big team yet again. Let's hope this time he sticks.
Laughton has no timeline to return and has 28 points, 11 goals and 17 assists through 54 games played this season.
