After another strong performance by goalie Carter Hart in Saturday's 3-2 victory against the Calgary Flames, head coach John Tortorella announced Monday afternoon that Hart will once again be starting in goal and there will be no lineup changes as the Flyers welcome rival Pittsburgh Penguins to town.

On Saturday, Hart earned his tenth win of the season in a performance that saw Hart record 22 saves on 24 shots, with a .917 save percentage. Hart is beginning to find his rhythm after missing a bulk of the month of December with an undisclosed illness that saw Hart lose weight and fall extremely ill.
Now at full strength, Hart is showing why he is a key piece to this Flyers team and is beginning to take on a workload of more of a number one goalie, whereas in the past few weeks Tortorella would stagger Hart and Samuel Ersson, who have both shown positive signs this season.
"Ersson has played well. We're not going to lose sight of Ers. We haven't even gone past this game; we just decided to come back with Carter this game, then we'll make our decision after. But we're not going to lose Ers."

In Carter Hart's past three starts, Hart has been able to stop 60 shots, with his best performance coming in Seattle where he recorded 27 saves on 29 shots with a .931 save percentage as the Flyers fell to the Kraken in overtime.
