It certainly didn't take long for Flyers rookie Bobby Brink to make his name known again in the AHL. After receiving a demotion to the Phantoms earlier this week, brink went to work with his head held high and already produced an impact for the team.
The Phantoms were at home playing against the Wilkes Barte Scranton Penguins when Brink scored his first goal on his return on the power play.
The goalie was a beauty as break lined up along the blue line and let the shot go as it sailed past Penguins goalie Magnus Hellberg. Many felt that Brink was going to remain with the Flyers for the entire season as he started off with a bang early on.
After a few months past however, he began to tail off and no longer registered any points. He also saw his ice time come to a screeching halt as he was down to 8 minutes a game.

I don't see an issue with this as he will need as many minutes as possible to continue his development as a player. The 22-year-old played 38 games for the Flyers this year, scored seven goals with 11 assists and has 18 points and is a + 7.
With the Flyers making their decisions as the trade deadline approaches, there's a strong chance that Brink will return to the lineup if the Flyers decide to sell some of their talent for their rebuilding plans.
