Although the Flyers spoiled the nights of St. Louis blues fans as they left with a 4-2 victory, Monday night was a special night for one former Flyer who was able to celebrate a career milestone against his former team where he spent six seasons.

Blues captain and 32-year-old center Brayden Schenn celebrated his 900th career NHL game on Monday night against the Flyers. Although Schenn has spent the last seven seasons in St. Louis, winning a Stanley Cup in 2019, Schenn had six great seasons in Philadelphia and was a fan favorite.
Schenn came to the Flyers in 2011 after spending 9 games in Los Angeles with the Kings. Out of his six seasons in Philadelphia, four of them saw Schenn record 40 plus points on the year.

Schenn's best as a Flyer came in 2015-16 where he recorded 59 points on 26 goals and 33 assists. Schenn was a great leader to have in the locker room and contributed greatly to the Flyers success of the mid 2010's.
Upon arriving to St. Louis, Schenn recorded a career high of 70 points in 2017-2018, followed by 50 plus point seasons in four of the next five years. Schenn greatly contributed to the magical Stanley Cup run the Blues had in 2019 and has later been named team captian.
Schenn even capped off his night by scoring a goal in his 900th career game.
