Former Flyers star omitted from Hall of Fame list.

Recently, Bleacher Report unveiled a list titled "10 Future Hall of Famers in the NHL Without a Doubt" that includes currently active players. However, as the list was revealed, one team and one player, in particular, were conspicuously absent.

The Philadelphia Flyers find themselves without any players on this list, and former Flyers star Claude Giroux was notably absent as well.
Given that many players, whether it's the Hall of Fame itself or the Bleacher Report, have been omitted, a player of Giroux's calibre should unquestionably be included.

He was drafted by the Flyers in the first round, 22nd overall, in 2006. A fan favourite, he spent 15 years of his career with the Flyers, had a brief one-season stint with the Panthers, and currently plays for the Ottawa Senators.

Giroux was a model of consistency for the Flyers throughout his entire career thus far. He has played 1100 games, scoring 329 goals and recording 673 assists for a total of 1002 points. His plus-minus rating is +38, and he has accumulated 452 penalty minutes along with 93 power-play goals, 374 power-play points, and 52 game-winning goals.

As we all understand, players are rightfully chosen based on their stats, the overall impact on the game, and how they've influenced its development�not solely on the number of championships they've won.

Despite not having secured a championship victory yet, I am confident that Giroux will eventually find his place in the Hall of Fame when the time comes.
