Before the game against the Columbus Blue Jackets, the Flyers announced who received the various awards and one name continued to pop up often. That would be Flyers goaltender Carter Hart.
Hart has been the backbone of the Flyers' season and has presented the fan base with many game-stopping saves and showing that he is the true MVP of the team.

Hart was the recipient of three awards, which were the Bobby Clark trophy which is for team MVP, the Jean Hart memorial award which demonstrates the most heart, go figure And the Toyota Cup award which rewards a player for the most points to be a star of the game during the season.
The 24-year-old goaltender has played 54 games and has a record of 21-23-10 with a GAA of 2.94 and an SV percentage of .907. He also has two shutouts.
Other awards that were given were the Barry Ashbee trophy for the most outstanding defenseman where Ivan Provorov took the award. The Pelle Lindbergh Memorial trophy for the most improved player was given to Owen Tippett and the Yanick Dupre class guy award which represents character and dignity went to defenceman Justin Braun.
