To try and bring some positivity to the team, lets meet some of the newest players that were drafted this past draft. The 2022-2023 season is not far away. First one up will be the 5th pick overall- Cutter Gauthier.

Born William Cutter Gauthier on January 19, 2004. Swedish hockey player, who will be attending Boston College this year to play hockey. Gauthier represented the United States at the 2020 Winter Youth Olympics and won a silver medal. He also represented the United States at the 2022 IIHF World U18 Championships, where recorded three goals and six assists in six games and won a silver medal.
Eliteprospects.com says this about the Flyers unsigned forward: "He's so good defensively, using his body well along the boards and in corners to win puck battles and move up ice. Offensively, he's incredibly efficient. The puck is on his stick and off his stick in transition, but he also recognizes when he has pockets of space to initiate offense himself. Gauthier is unafraid to drive the puck to the net and protects the puck nicely when he chooses to do so."
It's going to be some time before we see him in a Flyers uniform, but "CG" might be the real deal. He is going to transition from winger to center while he is at Boston College, maybe that will help his game.
