NHL Prospect's Not Giving Up His Dream Even After Getting Diagnosed With A brain Tumor

As kids most of have all dreamed of one day getting drafted to the NHL and winning the Stanley Cup. But to make it to the NHL it takes skill, heart, and the the will to never give up even when the odds are against you.
That's the case a young Toronto Maple Leafs prospect who's unfortunately been diagnosed with a brain tumor that stopped his development and jeopardize his career.
Rodion Amirov has shown heart and hasn't given up on his NHL, and it seems as though there's some more good news in regards to Amirov.
Amirov is listed on HC Salavat's roster for their first road trip of the season, via the team's Instagram and website. This is yet another piece of good news ahead of his hopeful return in either «November or December.»
The 20-year-old Amirov has informed the Leafs that he'll stay with the Russian hockey club for the entire season. Remaining in his home country will allow him to be close to family and in a more comfortable surrounding while finishing off his treatments.

"I want to stay positive, and I want people to think positively about me," he told Sportsnet's Elliotte Friedman at the time."There are many other people that have their own sicknesses or illnesses. I want to show by example that I can give people hope."
Though Amirov joined his club's road trip, it is still unclear when he will return to play. According to the team's Instagram account, he will not be in the lineup when Salavat takes on SKA St. Petersburg on Saturday.
The Toronto Maple Leafs drafted Rodion Amirov 15th overall in the 2020 NHL Draft.
Amirov has already shown nothing will stop his NHL dream. So It no longer seems like "if" he'll make the NHL, it's now a matter of when.
