There's not a lot of bright spot this season for the Flyers. But one of them is certainly the play of Carter Hart. The young goaltender is having a much more decent campaign than last season.

Despite playing in front of a poor team, Hart have a 2.88 goals against average and a .913 save percentage.
However, we couldn't say the same of Martin Jones. Yes, his save percentage is (a bit) better than last year, but he still concedes 3.56 goals per game. That's not very good.
Jones signed with the Flyers this summer on a one-year deal. But his level of play isn't where the club had hoped when signing him.

The Oilers, on the contrary, desesperatly need (it's still the case) a goalie who can give them a chance to win every night, which isn't the case of Koskinen, Smith or Skinner.
According to Elliotte Friedman, the Oilers offered a 5th round draft pick to the Flyers for Martin Jones, but GM Chuck Fletcher said no to Ken Holland.
