On this day in Flyers history, a controversial move by General Manager Chuck Fletcher came to light.
The Flyers traded fan-favorite defenseman Shayne Gostisbehere, along with a 2022 2nd and 7th round draft pick, to the Arizona Coyotes in exchange for "Future Considerations» on July 22, 2021.
