Turmoil between the Sixers and Flyers arise due to the scheduling issues
There appears to be tumultuous rhetoric swirling around the Philadelphia 76ers camp, due to the fact that they want a more equitable scheduling arrangement for the team, as they accuse the Philadelphia Flyers have an unfair advantage in scheduling.
As a result, ComCast-Spector CEO, Dan Hilferty took the time to talk about the issue on the SnowTheGoalie podcast.
Hilferty expressed his disappointment with the Sixers' leadership over a scheduling dispute. He disagreed with their statement and emphasized that teams work together to determine the schedule each season. Additionally, he pointed out that teams take turns picking first each year.
I believe that both of these teams have played an unreasonable amount of back-to-back games in the Wells Fargo Arena, which they both share.

The team is incensed about the fact they haven't played a Christmas home game in 11 years, which turned out to be accurate, and they also played five games in 7 nights, something no team in the NBA has done recently.
In some ways, it would be best if they could control their destiny, as David Adelman puts it, and leave South Philadelphia for a better place.
In this case, Adelman disagrees with everything Hilferty has said, and it is also unclear whether or not the teams are still able to resolve this amicably since the relationship between the teams appears to be strained.
