The Philadelphia Flyers have used the word "Rebuild" as soon as Danny Briere took the reigns of the organization.

He has decided to build through the draft and instead of building through free-agency signings, will be promoting from within all levels of play, according to his latest press conference.
Many of the recent Stanley Cup contenders have chosen to go this route to build their contending teams and Danny Briere updated us on the status of their recent 2022 1st-round draft pick, who decided to decline Briere's proposal a little while back.
Danny Briere said the Flyers shared their vision with Cutter Gauthier. He spoke to his advisor and his people and decided to stay at Boston College another year.
Briere has no problem with that. Said it gives him a chance to be even more dominant that he was this year.
Briere has let Gauthier decide his own path and Gauthier has chosen to play another year at Boston College. Gauthier will have another year of development in the NCAA with this plan, hopefully elevating his confidence levels and shortening his time in the AHL, depending on when he decides to come over to the club.

"Gauthier's skating and shot are NHL-caliber and he's got a power forward build (6-2, 200) that will be even better when he works with an NHL strength coach."
