This week, the Ottawa Senators officially listed their franchise for sale, igniting a great deal of conjecture regarding the future of the team, particularly with regard to ownership.
Since the announcement became public, Ryan Reynolds' connection to the team's ownership has apparently attracted the most interest; however, as of now, it is still only a rumour. It should go without saying that only a few group of individuals have so far been consistently linked to the sale of the team. On Saturday, however, courtesy to Ottawa Senators insider Bruce Garrioch, we were able to add another name to the list.
The most recent to express an interest is CEO Jeff York, who was raised in Ottawa and is stationed there. York, an Ottawa native and raised resident, has been Farm Boy's CEO since taking on the role in 2009.
