In the Philadelphia Flyers' lineup this season, there have been five players who have played at center.

Of the five players, Morgan Frost has produced the best statistics on ice, despite being benched the most by John Tortorella.

This season, Frost has appeared in ten games, scoring two goals and contributing two assists for four points.
Meanwhile, he leads the team in 5v5 stats, which is remarkable considering he hasn't played for nine games.
Besides Tortorella not liking Morgan Frost, it's really puzzling why someone like him is in the doghouse.
Five centers have played for the

so far this year. Amongst them, the leader in:

ExGF%: Frost (59.41%)
GF%: Frost (72.13%)
Goals/60: Frost (1.04)
Primary assists/60: Frost (1.04)
Points/60: Frost (2.08)

Hard to really put up much better numbers at 5v5.

If Tortorella has Danny Briere's ear, does that mean he will be on his way out like Kevin Hayes?
A 24-year-old, 1st round center should not be benched during a rebuilding year, he should be developing, and mistakes should be accepted.
Philadelphia might be feeling the effects of Tortorella's decision-making that led to Pierre Luc-Dubois leaving Columbus.
