Chuck Fletcher will have his hands full this summer.
He is very probably going to be aggressive on the trade market and the free agency. However, before doing so, he will have to do one thing: trade James Van Riemsdyk. And according to multiple reports, the Flyers number one priority is to move him.
"I wonder about (James) van Riemsdyk, I can see them trying to move him to create cap space, I think that's going on," said Elliotte Friedman.
According to Brandon Sommermann, at least 3 teams have interest in JVR. However, the Flyers will have to retain salary on his contract, and for the moment, they aren't willing to retain more than 10 to 12%...
